Terms & Conditions

1. Participant Agreement:
By registering for ROAD TO DESOLATION, you agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the organizers. You acknowledge that gravel cycling is an inherently risky activity and assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to, injury, illness, or property damage.

2. Rider Responsibility:

Equipment: Ensure your bicycle and equipment are in safe working condition.
Helmet: A properly fitted bicycle helmet must be worn at all times during the event.
Rules of the Road: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
Course Etiquette: Respect fellow riders, volunteers, and property owners.
Environmental Impact: Minimize your impact on the environment. Please pack out all trash.

3. Event Cancellation:

The organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event due to unforeseen circumstances, such as severe weather, natural disasters, or other uncontrollable factors. In such cases, participants will be notified as soon as possible.

4. Liability Waiver:

You release the organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and landowners from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with your participation in the event.

5. Emergency Medical Services:

Emergency medical services will be available on-site. However, participants are responsible for their own health insurance and any related medical expenses.

6. Event Photography and Video:

By participating in the event, you consent to the use of your image and likeness in photographs, videos, and other media for promotional purposes.

7. Race Rules:

Course: Follow the designated course as marked.
Support: Outside support is not permitted, except at designated feed zones.
Self-Sufficiency: Be prepared with adequate food, water, and spare equipment.
Fair Play: Ride responsibly and ethically.

8. Event Modifications:

The organizers reserve the right to modify the course, rules, or schedule at their discretion.
